Two key projects launched to implement the European Open Science Cloud
Providing 1.7 million researchers in Europe with a wide variety of services and resources to fully exploit the potential of data and multidisciplinary research: this is the mission of the EOSC-hub and OpenAIRE-Advance projects that have just kicked off and that will be instrumental to make the European Open Science Cloud a reality.
To this end, the 30 million euros project EOSC-Hub funded by the European Commission (DG CNECT) is a ground-breaking milestone in the implementation of the EOSC. It will allow researchers all over Europe to access a wide variety of interoperable data, computing and networking resources available at national, regional and institutional level, thus unleashing the potential of multidisciplinary research in Europe and further enable scientific excellence in Europe.
