Oxford Statement on International Data Sharing
We are at a crucial time in history where principles, procedures, practices and policy are needed to facilitate and encourage international data sharing in medical research. From the International Data Sharing Conference that was held in Oxford from the 20-22nd of September 2010, it was apparent that there was a real need to bring the research community and other stakeholders together and identify common principles that could provide a framework for global data sharing. This statement is an attempt to do this and reflects the work of many contributors from around the world.
