DataCite Annual Conference | Giving value to data: advocacy, guidance, services

The 5th annual conference (formerly: Summer meeting) of the DataCite consortium will this year be organized by Inist-CNRS, the French representative in DataCite. It will provide an opportunity for presentations, in a broad international context, on recent developments, new services and current projects in research data-related fields, given by members, partners and supporters of DataCite as well as users of DataCite services. The conference title – Giving value to data: advocacy, guidance, services – is taken from DataCite’s current Strategic Plan and expresses its general mission and domains of action.
The 2014 conference takes place in a particular context : This year marks the 10 year anniversary of the first DOI minted for research data and also the 5 year anniversary for DataCite.
