Managing the Data Deluge: Roles and Responsibilities for Your Institution
5 mai 2017 – Londres, Royaume-Uni
LEARN cordially invites you to its end-of-Project Conference entitled ‘Managing the Data Deluge: roles and responsibilities for your institution ‘ which will be held on Friday 5th May 2017 at Senate House, London.
The use and sharing of research data has the potential fundamentally to change the way research is undertaken and shared. Pervasive networks mean that researchers are able to collaborate and share not only their publications, but also the research data, which underpins them. The LEARN Conference is designed to encourage all stakeholders – researchers, research funders, publishers, research organisations and senior decision makers – to explore what their roles and responsibilities are in this fast-changing environment. The EU-funded LEARN project has produced a model Research Data Management policy, along with guidance, for implementation at institutional level.

The conference will be split into two sessions. The morning session will be devoted to formal presentations, whilst the afternoon slot will have breakout groups which will examine the outputs of the LEARN project and how they can be taken up by stakeholders.
