LERU Seminar on Open Scholarship

On Friday 6 June 2014, the League of European Research Universities (LERU) will organise a Seminar on Open Scholarship with the participation of relevant policymakers and other stakeholders.

During the morning session, the LERU Roadmap for Research Data will be presented. Published in December 2013, the LERU Roadmap for Research Data presents the challenges posed by research data, using case studies to illustrate how LERU universities are tackling specific issues related to these challenges. It also includes a set of valuable recommendations for researchers, research institutions, support services and policy makers.

The activities of DG RTD, DG CONNECT and LIBER (Association of European Research Libraries) regarding Open Scholarship will then be presented.

During the afternoon session, several case studies will be presented together with the perspective of a funder organization and a presentation on Research Data Policy and Text and Data Mining.
