Introduction
The 3rd ASIS&T RDAP Summit was held in New Orleans, March 22-23, 2012. For this special section of the Bulletin, we asked organizers of the RDAP Summit to highlight some of the critical issues they see in the areas of research data access and preservation. These authors provided feature articles as well as summaries of a few related panels to offer those who could not attend insight into the content of an RDAP Summit. We’ve also included a summary of the program, links to presentations and a selection of posters on slideshare, as well as information on how to learn about next year’s RDAP13 Summit.
